Songs Festival
There's
always lots of shape note singing at the Old Songs Festival! Starting
with a Friday afternoon workshop for novices, continuing with
two workshop sings first thing Saturday & Sunday morning,
and a book sing one afternoon, it's a real experience!
Old Songs is a folk festival with the old-style feel about it.
Well worth the trip to Altamont.

Valley Folk Festival
Another
excellent festival! Usually held the August holiday weekend, and
tickets are available for on-line purchase. Often has a Sunday
morning sing.
